UV index - what is it?

It is a "magical number" which helps to decide if you should wear a sunscreen today or not :)

We all know about this default "rule": wear a sunblock in summer + late spring and early autumn.

But did you know that even in summer there are days where there is no need in a sunscreen?

Open the app with the weather forecast and look for "UV index" (if its not there, just Google it adding the name of your town/city).

If you see:
* 1, 2, 3 or 4 - you can leave the house without a sunscreen (yes, even if it is sunny outside);
* 5, 6, 7 - you must use a sunblock and follow all the rules (yes, even if its cloudy outside);
* 8, 9, 10, 11 - try to avoid Sun as much as you can (stay in the building or shadow, wear hats and sunglasses as well as clothing with longer sleeves).
